OFFICIAL RULES
1. Organizer
The World Circus Cup is an international online circus competition organized by World Circus Cup
(hereinafter, “the Organizer”).
2. Purpose of the Competition
The World Circus Cup aims to promote, showcase, and celebrate circus talent worldwide, providing artists
and companies with an international platform for exposure and recognition.
3. Selection System and Competition Format
3.1 Pre-selection
An International Jury will select 16 finalist acts from all submitted applications.
3.2 Elimination Rounds
The 16 finalists will compete in a head-to-head bracket system consisting of the following stages:
– Round of 16
– Quarterfinals
– Semifinals
– Final
3.3 Public Voting
During the elimination rounds, participants’ advancement will be determined by public voting through the
Organizer’s Instagram account.
The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any act that violates these rules, including fraudulent voting
or improper practices.
In parallel, the International Jury will select its own Jury Winner, resulting in two winners: one chosen by
the public and one chosen by the Jury.
4. International Jury
The official jury is composed of internationally recognized professionals from the circus and performing
arts fields, responsible for artistic pre-selection.
The jury does not participate in public voting during elimination rounds.
5. Participants
Professional circus artists or artists in advanced training from any country may participate individually or as
a group.
All circus disciplines are accepted without exception.
Participants must be at least 18 years old.
6. Registration
Registration is completed by sending a video link to: apply@worldcircuscup.com
Registration is free of charge. The Organizer reserves the right to confirm receipt of the material.
7. Submitted Material (Video)
The video must clearly show the act, be a real recording, have a minimum duration of 3 minutes, and
sufficient visual and audio quality.
The video does not need to be recorded exclusively for this competition.
8. Image Rights and Intellectual Property
Participants retain full intellectual property rights to their acts and material.
By participating, artists authorize the Organizer to use submitted videos and photos on Instagram and the
official website solely for promotional purposes related to the World Circus Cup.
9. Prizes
USD 1,000 to the Public Winner.
USD 1,000 to the Jury Winner.
Prizes are non-transferable and not exchangeable.
10. Schedule
All dates will be announced through official World Circus Cup channels.
The Organizer reserves the right to modify the schedule for operational reasons or force majeure.
11. Rights Declaration
Each participant declares and guarantees that they own or have obtained all necessary rights to the
image, voice, and audiovisual content of the submitted video, authorizing its use in accordance with these
Official Rules.
12. Conduct and Ethics
Participants must maintain respectful and professional conduct. Offensive or discriminatory content may
result in immediate disqualification.
13. Acceptance of the Rules
Participation implies full acceptance of these Official Rules. The official language of these Rules is English.
